Secure-a-Field came to us as they wanted help to grow their market position. Although steadily growing organically, Secure-a-Field needed a plan which would enable them to increase traffic to their website and make them more visible online.
After discussing their business goals and requirements, we reviewed their website, looking at its current visibility and performance. We produced a report which highlighted the issues with the website and detailed how each issue or error could be dealt with.
To fit in with their budget, we recommended purchasing a block of development hours and website optimisation. With the development hours, we would be able to fix all the issues that we had identified, making the site more responsive, quicker and more visible.
We updated the core WordPress system and all plugins, alt tagged all 200 images, fixed 580 onsite issues, increased the loading speed and the Google Page Insight score on both desktop and mobile devices. We also resolved the usability issues on the mobile menu and added Google analytics.
The Secure-a-Field website is now more responsive and the optimisation for the desktop has gone from 33/100 to 93/100 and for mobile from 53/100 to 83/100 making the website much more user-friendly.
